Spyridon Tzamtzis has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Spyridon began their career in 1987 with a 4-month military service at the IT Center of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff. Spyridon then worked as an Application Developer/Analyst at BPC Ltd in 1989. Following that, they joined Hellenic Aerospace Industry S.A. as an Application Analyst from 1990 to 1994. At Alpha Bank, Spyridon held various positions including Project Manager from 2000 to 2005 and Executive General Manager Information Technology - CIO starting from October 2020. Between 2005 and 2020, they worked in different divisions of the bank, gradually progressing to higher managerial roles. Additionally, they served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Alpha Supporting Services S.A from July 2020.

Spyridon Tzamtzis has an educational background in Business Administration and Operations Research. In 2003, they pursued an MBA at Athens University of Economics and Business, as well as the National Technical University of Athens. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1987, they obtained a National Diploma in Geology from the School of Physics & Maths at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Spyridon also holds additional certifications in areas such as internal quality auditing and was recognized in the IT 100 Powerlist 2022.
