Raghavendra Aroor is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in aerospace and defense sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Marketing & Avionics and General Manager at Alpha Design Technologies since June 2017. Raghavendra oversees marketing and business development for a range of defense electronic products and serves as an adviser on defense aerospace opportunities. Raghavendra's previous roles in the Indian Air Force, spanning from March 1991 to February 2017, included Joint Director/Group Captain, where responsibilities encompassed strategic planning and maintenance management of avionics and electronic warfare systems for Jaguar fighter aircraft. Raghavendra also held various leadership positions focused on training, operational planning, and maintenance management throughout a distinguished military career. Raghavendra holds an Engineer’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mysore University and has completed advanced management training in financial and human resource management.

The Company has been incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 on 02 – 07 – 2003. Alpha has also obtained Industrial Licences (No. DIL-1 (2007) dated 05 March 2007 and No. DIL 97 (2008) dated 20 November 2008) for development / manufacture / supply of almost all types of defence electronics, avionics, simulation, UAVs, AFV equipment & systems.
