Liz Buttner has a diverse work experience in marketing and communication roles. Liz is currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Communication at Alpha Kappa Psi since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Director of Communication at the same company from November 2021 to January 2023.
Before their role at Alpha Kappa Psi, Liz worked as the Membership & Volunteer Coordinator at the Association of Change Management Professionals from February 2020 to October 2021.
Liz has also been associated with Alpha Kappa Psi since 2014, where they held various roles including Associate Director of Risk Reduction from December 2017 to February 2020, Chapter Services Coordinator from July 2016 to December 2017, Chapter Educational Resource Coordinator from January 2015 to June 2016, and Expansion Coordinator from June 2014 to December 2014.
In addition, Liz has worked as a Campus Representative at Serengetee LLC from January 2014 to June 2014 and as a Student Assistant at Stetson University from September 2012 to May 2014.
Liz Buttner, CDMP, PCM Digital Marketing, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Stetson University in 2014. Prior to that, they completed their high school education in the International Baccalaureate Program at Riverdale High School. Liz also holds additional certifications including Certified Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital Marketing Institute, a Certificate in Project Management from Stetson University, and Qualified Association Specialist from the Florida Society of Association Executives. Furthermore, they have completed courses such as Discovering Practical AI Applications for your Association offered by Sidecar and SheCodes Basics provided by SheCodes.
