Xueqing Liu

Xueqing Liu is a Senior Design Engineer at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor since June 2022, focusing on the development of silicon power device technology and collaborating on new product design and launch. Previously, Xueqing held the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from July 2019 to June 2022, where responsibilities included developing numerical and compact transistor models for terahertz detection. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant role at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from August 2014 to May 2019, where Xueqing worked on FET-based terahertz detectors, nanocomposite materials, and modeling of advanced SiC DMOSFETs. Xueqing also served as a Teaching Assistant during studies at both Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Southern University of Science & Technology. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and master's and bachelor's degrees in Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics and Electronic Science and Technology, respectively, from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
