James Emmanuel Ovye is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Strategic Officer, BD and Investment Analyst at AlphablockZ since March 2024, James is involved in early-stage venture building and investment for Web 3.0 and deep tech startups. In parallel, James holds the position of Executive General Manager Africa at ABC Conclave, focusing on uniting global crypto enthusiasts through events and networking opportunities. Additionally, James has contributed as a Strategist at the Blockchain Nigeria User Group since July 2020 and has held project lead roles at VEFI and 3swapDex. James began a career in business development as a Business Development Executive at Bitzlato Africa in 2021. James's educational background includes a degree from the University of Jos, earned between 2012 and 2018.
