Jyrki Penttinen

Jyrki Penttinen is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in program management, technology consulting, and telecommunications standards. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at Alphacore Inc., Jyrki has previously held significant roles at GSMA as a Technical Manager and Engineering Consultant, where contributions included leading the production of key industry whitepapers and supporting member organizations in the adoption of GSMA specifications. Prior roles include Standards Strategy Director at Syniverse, Senior Technology Manager at GSMA, and Program Manager at Giesecke+Devrient, alongside a history of impactful positions at Nokia, TeliaSonera, and Xfera Spain. Jyrki holds a Doctor of Science in Technology from Aalto University and multiple degrees in telecommunications from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
