Chris Holmes is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in ASIC design and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Alphawave IP Group since June 2022, Chris previously held the same position at Huawei Technologies Canada Ltd from September 2014 to June 2022. Earlier roles include ASIC Design/DFT Engineer at SiVision Inc. and STMicroelectronics, and ASIC Designer positions at MOSAID and Plaintree Systems. Chris began the engineering career at Gandalf Data Limited as a Design Engineer/Principal Engineer and held design engineer and project management roles at Senstar Corporation and Leigh Instruments. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Systems from Carleton University, obtained from 1978 to 1982, and completed education at Merivale High School from 1973 to 1978.
