Sean MacNeil is a seasoned scientist with over 25 years of experience in biopharmaceutical development. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Alpine Immune Sciences, Inc. since August 2016, Sean has a strong background in developing purification processes for monoclonal antibody projects and utilizing platform strategies for efficient scalable downstream processes. Prior to this role, Sean held various positions at Amgen, including Scientist and Senior Associate Scientist, focusing on analytical method development and characterization of monoclonal antibodies. Sean's earlier experience includes research roles at Immunex and Baxter's Immunotherapy Division, where responsibilities encompassed protein characterization and sequencing. Sean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Cell and Molecular Option from the University of Washington between 1990 and 1992.
