Gary Ludwig

Gary Ludwig is an experienced professional in product development and merchandising, currently serving as the Head of Product Development at Alpinestars since February 2023, focusing on casual sportswear and various categories including MTB, Moto Technical, and MX Gear. Prior to this role, Gary worked at Destruction Construction as a freelance Hustle Manager and in various creative capacities from September 2015 to February 2023. Other notable positions include Senior Director of Hardgoods at Maui and Sons, Senior Skateboard & Protective Category Manager at Bravo Sports, and several roles at DC Shoes, including Director of Product for the Americas and Director of Mens & Youth Apparel Merchandising. Gary's career also includes leadership roles at Apex Global Brands and Element Brand, with a foundation in teaching as a Surf Class Teacher and Surf Team Coach at Fountain Valley High School. Gary holds an AA in Art from Orange Coast College.
