Simon Toyne

Simon Toyne is an experienced communications professional, currently serving as the Technical Communications Editor and Product Training Manager at Alpinestars since July 2018. In this role, Simon oversees technical product specifications and content for various communication platforms, and manages the company's Technical Product Training programme. Prior to Alpinestars, Simon owned Write On Media 23, specializing in media consulting and editing, and held senior editorial positions at C3 for Bentley and Escape Fitness. Simon's early career includes a role as Production Editor at Bauer Media, focusing on magazine production, and experience as a Professional Development and Test Driver for KDSM GmbH, where technical expertise in automotive testing was developed. Simon holds a Master's degree in Print Journalism from The University of Sheffield and degrees in German, History, and Politics from the University of Southampton, along with a Bachelor's degree in German from the University of Osnabrueck.
