Masami Aihara

Masami (Mort) Aihara has extensive experience in the semiconductor and optical components industries, currently serving as Sr. Manager of the Component Market Development Department at Alps Electric since March 2006. Prior roles include Sr. Engineering Manager and Project Manager for Optical Components Development, demonstrating leadership in engineering and project management. From March 2001 to February 2006, Masami held the position of Manager for Market and Technology Research at ALPS Electric (North America) Inc. Previous experience also includes a role as Team Leader for Plasma Process Development at Frontec Inc. and a Visiting Researcher focused on Ultraclean Semiconductor Processing at Tohoku University. Masami holds a Master's degree in Superconductive Material and Device from Nagaoka University of Technology, completed in 1992.
