Fernando Macedo has a strong background in legal affairs and corporate matters. Fernando started their career as an Associate at Santamarina y Steta, s.c., where they worked from August 2004 to December 2007. Fernando then moved on to Creel, Garcia-Cuellar, Aiza y Enriquez, S.C., where they served as an Associate from January 2008 to March 2010, specializing in advising clients on acquisition transactions, real estate developments, and drafting credit contracts and related guarantees. From April 2010 to February 2012, they worked as a Legal Manager at AutoZone de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. In 2012, Fernando joined Alsea as the Director Legal de Asuntos Corporativos, taking on responsibilities for legal, contractual, and intellectual property matters within the group in Mexico, as well as overseeing all litigation cases, including labor disputes. Fernando also acted as the Secretary for various Mexican subsidiaries of the company and was responsible for M&A operations in all the countries where the group operates.
Fernando Macedo completed their education with a Licenciado degree in Derecho from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey in 2001. Later, in 2003, they pursued a Master's in Laws from New York University School of Law.
