Andy Holmes has extensive experience in the coffee retail industry, currently serving as President of Starbucks at Alshaya Group since December 2012, overseeing operations in 10 countries across the Middle East and North Africa with a portfolio of over 700 stores. Prior to this role, Andy held the position of Director of Operations for EMEA at Starbucks Coffee Company from November 2009 to December 2012, leading a regional operations team based in Amsterdam. Andy's career in the sector began as Regional Operations Manager at Costa Coffee from 2004 to January 2007, followed by work as Regional Director of Operations at Starbucks Coffee UK, where a team of nine district managers was led. Andy Holmes holds a certificate in management from the University of Gloucestershire and has further education from Hult Ashridge and Royal Latin School.
