Keith Blackwell

Keith Blackwell is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel at Alston & Bird since January 2021. Previously, Blackwell held significant judicial positions, including Justice on the Supreme Court of Georgia from July 2012 to November 2020 and Judge on the Court of Appeals of Georgia from November 2010 to July 2012. Prior to these roles, Blackwell was a Partner at Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs and served as an Assistant District Attorney for Cobb County Government. Blackwell began their legal career as an Associate at Alston & Bird and also completed a clerkship at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Georgia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The University of Georgia.
