Dave Anderson

Dave Anderson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President for Environment, Health, Safety and Security at AltaGas Ltd. since January 2019, Dave plays a key role in the company's operations focused on clean and affordable energy in Asia and North America. Dave has also held the position of Board Member at EQUS, Canada’s largest member-owned electric utility, from May 2021 to February 2025. Prior to these roles, Dave contributed to major projects at Suncor Energy and held various positions in drilling and completions at Talisman Energy and Talisman Energy USA. Earlier career experience includes analytical work at ATB Financial and hands-on roles in drilling at Arrow Drilling. Dave holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Calgary and has completed courses at Harvard Business School Online.
