Alice Sheppard

Alice Sheppard is an experienced event coordinator currently working with Altair Engineering's Global Events team since August 2024, focusing on both in-person and virtual events. Previously, Alice held a similar role at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra from June 2023 to August 2024, where the focus was on building community relationships through engaging events. Earlier experience includes serving as the Community Events and Farmer's Market Lead Intern for the City of East Lansing, managing large gatherings and vendor relationships, and working as a barista and bookseller at Hooked, where strong customer relationships were established. Involvement with Michigan State University's Crew Club as Fundraising Chair involved leading fundraising initiatives and event production. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Michigan State University, obtained between 2019 and 2023. Additional experience includes roles at the Cranbrook Institute of Science as an Educator and at Harmony Christian Childcare as an Assistant Preschool Teacher.
