Julie was involved in various testing and usability support projects, including the AFRL Enterprise Business System (EBS) and the Integrated ONIR TPED System (IOTS) Program at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). Julie worked at Booz Allen Hamilton from June 2001 to October 2007.

Julie's first job was as a Neurobehavioral Lab Tech at the Naval Health Research Center - Toxicology Detachment WPAFB from August 1999 to June 2001, where they performed various neurobehavioral experiments and developed efficient data analysis methods.

Julie obtained the "Certified Tester - Foundation Level" certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in May 2006. Lastly, they obtained the "Professional Scrum Master I" certification from Scrum.org in September 2022.
