His career has covered a wide array of problem domains, including graph algorithms, entity resolution, natural language processing, machine learning, geospatial analytics, cybersecurity, and electronic design automation. He holds a number of patents for algorithmic innovations in these domains.
Before Altana, he led engineering teams at Novetta (now Accenture), Orbital Insight, Digital Reasoning (now Smarsh), and Invincea (now Two Six Technologies).
He earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, with his research focused on graph and geometric algorithms, and prior to that a BS and MS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
