David Nguyen

David Nguyen, MD, MBA, serves as the General Manager and Medical Director at Altasciences since August 2021, bringing extensive leadership experience from WCCT Global, where David held multiple roles including Chief Operating Officer and Medical Director from July 2017 to September 2021. As the Founder and Medical Director of Dr. Dave's Dermal Institute, from August 2015 to September 2021, David established a full-service medical spa focused on injectables and hydration treatments. Prior to this, David contributed to UC Irvine Health as a Clinical Instructor and Attending Physician, overseeing anesthetic practices and training nurse anesthetists and residents. With a residency in Anesthesiology at UC Irvine Health and earlier leadership as Chief Extern in the Department of Anesthesiology at The University of Iowa Health Care, David has a solid foundation in both clinical and operational aspects of medicine. David holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and an MD from the University of Iowa.
