Rob Hunter

Rob Hunter is an experienced legal professional with a distinguished career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Of Counsel and previously as Sr Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Altec, Inc. since 1999, Hunter has held prominent leadership roles in various legal and professional organizations. Notably, Hunter served as President of Lawyers for Civil Justice from May 2014 to May 2015 and held the position of Dean at IADC Corporate Counsel College from April 2013 to April 2014. Additional leadership positions include Director roles at DRI - The Voice of the Defense Bar and Lawyers for Civil Justice from 2007 to 2010, and the presidency of the International Association of Defense Counsel from 2004 to 2007. Hunter's early career included a partnership at Lange, Simpson, Robinson & Somerville from 1976 to 1999 and the presidency of the Alabama Hunter-Jumper Association in 1998-1999. Hunter holds a JD from Cornell Law School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
