William Duthie serves as Vice President of Procurement, Contracting & Legal for Major Projects at Altera Infrastructure since March 2020, having previously held roles including Director and Senior Legal Counsel focused on the FPSO business unit. Prior to joining Altera, William was the UK Counsel at Teekay, managing legal affairs for FPSO assets, and worked in international arbitration at HFW. William's career began at Pinsent Masons, specializing in construction law, complemented by a secondment at BP addressing safety and regulatory issues. Earlier experience includes offshore work with Transocean in West Africa and the UK North Sea. William holds a Dip LP and an LLB (Honours) from the University of Aberdeen.
