Ivan Šmarda

Ivan Šmarda is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and product management. Currently serving as Senior Director at Alteryx since November 2021, Ivan oversees the Data Connectivity and Management and Data Connector teams across multiple international locations. Prior to Alteryx, Ivan held several key positions at GoodData, where responsibilities included directing engineering teams and managing technical product development, focusing on continuous improvement and strategic technology integration. Earlier roles included Director of Software Development at MONET+, managing complex projects in secure transactions, and various managerial positions at NetSuite and Home Credit International, emphasizing team leadership and project lifecycle management. Ivan holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Communication from Brno University of Technology.
