Prior to starting their own firm, Brian worked as a Client Partner at BrightHouse, a BCG company, from 2001 to 2003. Their experience also includes working at Coca-Cola on the Brand Marketing and Innovation Team from 1997 to 1999 and Procter & Gamble as a Brand Marketing Intern in 1996. Brian began their career at APM Management Consultants in 1991, where they worked as a Manager, Senior Associate, and Associate until 1995 before the company was acquired by CSC.

Brian Hankin earned their Bachelor's degree in Magna cum laude from Tufts University in 1991. In 1997, they completed their MBA in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Health Care from The Wharton School. Prior to that, they attended Hackley School for their high school education.
