Stefka Tyanova

Stefka Tyanova is a seasoned expert in bioinformatics and computational biology, currently serving as the Director of Bioinformatics and leading the Multi-Omics Data Analysis Group at Altos Labs since July 2022. Prior to this role, Stefka held the position of Principal Data Scientist at Roche from December 2016 to July 2022, and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry between July 2013 and November 2016. Stefka's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Computational Proteomics from the Technical University of Munich, complemented by a Master's Degree in Computational Biology and a Bachelor's Degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Jacobs University Bremen.
