Jin Kim

Jin Kim is an experienced executive with a strong background in business development and strategic growth across various industries. As the Executive Vice President at Alumni Ventures since May 2021, Jin also serves as the Founding Council Chair of Emmet Street Ventures, which focuses on alumni from the University of Virginia. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Overwatch Imaging and Chief Growth Officer at Ballard Power Systems. Jin's extensive experience also includes positions at Airtech Vacuum, Inc., where Jin was Vice President of Sales East, and corporate roles at United Technologies, Coller Capital, and IPVALUE Management. Academically, Jin holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Oxford and a Diplom in Physics from the University of Cologne, along with ongoing participation in the Executive Leadership Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and status as a Level II Candidate in the CFA Program.
