Laura Rippy

Laura Bordewieck Rippy is a seasoned venture capital professional currently serving as Managing Partner and Board Member at Alumni Ventures, where responsibilities include overseeing multiple funds such as Harvard (The Yard), Dartmouth (Green D), Women's, and US Strategic Tech. Laura also leads The Yard Ventures and Women's Fund, focusing on investments in the Harvard community and women-led startups, respectively. Prior to Alumni Ventures, Laura was Managing Partner at Ripplecreek Partners and General Partner at FA Technology Ventures, along with a notable tenure as CEO of Handango, the original mobile app store. Laura’s extensive experience in the tech sector includes various roles at Microsoft and strategic consulting with Alliance Consulting Group.
