Petr Baca

Petr Baca has a diverse work experience in the audio-video industry. Petr started their career in 2015 as a Sound Technician at RentalPro s.r.o. In 2016, they worked as an AV Technician at ROsound Company and AVT Group a.s. Petr also gained experience as a Live Sound Engineer at Metro Music bar from 2016 to 2018. From 2013 to 2016, Petr worked as a Sound and Video Technician at svetloazvuk.cz Jiří Lakomý. Petr then joined Jiří Jehlár in 2014 as a Sound Engineer, where they worked until 2018. In 2016, Petr also had a short-term role as a Sound Technician at ROsound Company. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Sound Engineer at Recording Studio Škroupova, Brno, where they managed teams and produced musical elements. In 2019, Petr joined InterVideoPrint s.r.o. as an AV Technician. In 2020, they became a Junior Product Manager at Alza.cz a.s., and in 2021 they were promoted to the role of Product Manager, Audio-Video. Additionally, since 2013, Petr has also worked as a self-employed Sound Engineer on various projects and events, including sound recording and editing, live sound at local events, and sound installations.

Petr Baca has a diverse education history. Petr earned a Master's degree in Audio Engineering from Brno University of Technology, which they attended from 2014 to 2019. During the same period, they also pursued a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. In 2017, Petr attended Aalto University for a brief period to pursue another Master's degree, this time focusing on Acoustics.

Before their university studies, Petr attended Gymnázium Lipník nad Bečvou from 2006 to 2014, where they studied general subjects. Petr also attended ZUŠ Antonína Dvořáka v Lipníku nad Bečvou from 2001 to 2014, where they focused on studying the violin and vocals.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Petr has obtained several certifications. Petr completed a course in Scotwork Advancing Negotiation Skills from Scotwork in October 2021. In March 2020, they earned a certification in Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google. Prior to that, in November 2019, they completed a course titled "Základní techniky návrhu a optimalizace zvukových systémů" (Fundamental Techniques of Sound System Design and Optimization) by Michal Brůna. Petr has also received certifications in various aspects of sound system engineering, including Line Arrays and Subwoofer Techniques (March 2018) and Sound Systems Design and Optimization (March 2016), both by Merlijn Van Veen. Additionally, they completed the NEXO ETC2: Sound System Engineering course offered by MusicData in February 2017.
