Owen Miller

Policy Officer at Alzheimer Europe

Owen Miller has extensive experience in policy development and advocacy within the field of dementia care. Currently serving as a Policy Officer at Alzheimer Europe since August 2018, Owen focuses on supporting campaigns to prioritize dementia at the European level and has authored a report on national dementia strategies for the organization's Yearbook. Prior to this, Owen worked with Alzheimer Scotland from February 2014 to June 2018, analyzing healthcare policies impacting individuals with cognitive impairments. Additionally, Owen contributed as a Programme Coordinator for Focus on Dementia and as a Policy Analyst at the Care Inspectorate, where responsibilities included information dissemination and support for policy development. Earlier experience includes an internship at The Scottish Parliament. Owen holds a postgraduate degree in Public Health and a Master of Arts in Politics and Social Policy from The University of Edinburgh.
