Gillian McPherson-Champion

Gillian is a seasoned banker with over 30 years of retail experience, starting her career as a part-time teller and working her way up the ladder. Gillian entered into a Management Training Program at City and Suburban and graduated as a Branch Manager. Gillian started at Amalgamated as Branch Manager of our Coop City location February 2008. She quickly stepped into leadership roles managing the Northeast branch network, overseeing the operations of 31 branches in the Greater New York Metropolitan area. As the Bank has expanded into more parts of the country, Gillian’s leadership has expanded to support teams in DC, California, and our Online National Bank. In addition to the retail network, Gillian recently began managing the call center channel of the bank, helping customers feel connected to their financial institution while learning about and growing their banking relationship.
