Barrow Kwan

Barrow Kwan currently serves as the Head of DevOps at both Bear River Associates and Amartha since January 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Leader of Software Engineering at Cisco from April 2023 to January 2024 and various positions at GoTo Group from February 2020 to January 2023, including Consultant and Head of Infrastructure for the Merchant Platform. At GoTo Group, Barrow led a team in managing Google Cloud infrastructure, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and observability, while also coaching DevOps professionals. Barrow's career began at ThoughtWorks, Inc., spanning from April 1996 to February 2020, where leadership in IT management and infrastructure development was demonstrated. Barrow holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University and two Associate degrees in Computer Science from College of San Mateo and Skyline College.
