Anju K.

Anju K. currently serves as the Japan Researcher and Representative for the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre since July 2023 and as a Business and Human Rights Officer at Human Rights Now since April 2021. In the latter role, Anju K. represents the coalition against forced labor in trade and advocates for trade mechanisms to combat forced labor in global supply chains. Previously, Anju K. held various positions focusing on business and human rights, collaborating with civil society organizations, corporations, and the Japanese government. Anju K. has also worked as a Language Tutor at AmazingTalker and as an Open-source Researcher at the University of Essex Human Rights Centre Clinic, partnering with Amnesty International. Anju K. holds a Master of Laws in International Human Rights Law and Economic Law from the University of Essex and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Keio University.
