Brian Leung has over two decades of experience in microcode development and software engineering, currently serving as Director of Microcode at Ambarella Inc since September 2009. Previous roles at Ambarella include Senior Manager and Staff Engineer, focusing on IDSP and VDSP microcode for high-definition digital cameras and security systems. Prior to Ambarella, Brian worked at IES Systems developing a BD playback platform, held a Senior Software Engineer position at Magnum Semiconductor, and contributed to video firmware development at LSI Logic Inc. Brian began their career as a Systems Engineer at Honeywell after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia in 2002.
