Nemunas Biknius is the current CEO of Amber Grid AB, and has previously served as a member of the board for Litgrid AB and Amber Grid. Nemunas has also been the chairman of the board for Energy Exchange BALTPOOL and EPSO-G. Nemunas's experience in the energy field spans over 15 years, during which time they have served as the Chief Expert for the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania, Head of Gas and Local Resources Division for the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania, and as a member of the European Gas coordination group.
Nemunas Biknius has an EMBA from ISM University of Management and Economics, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Energy Planning from Vilniaus Gedimino Technikos Universitetas, a Mini MBA in Energy Transition and Innovations from the Energy Delta Institute, and is a Professional Board Member of the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance. Nemunas also has a Bachelor's degree in Natural gas, heating and ventilation from Vilniaus Gedimino Technikos Universitetas.

Amber Grid AB is a Lithuania-based natural gas transmission system operator. The Company is responsible for the natural gas transmission (transportation of high pressure pipeline) system for users of natural gas infrastructure, operation, maintenance and development. The Company's transmission system mainly consists of gas pipelines, gas compressor stations, metering stations and distribution pipelines corrosion protection devices, data transmission and communication systems. Amber Grid AB is the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSOG) associate member. On May 21, 2014, UAB EPSO-G became a major shareholder in the Company, with a stake of 56.6%.
