Mr. Barros Lisboa is an independent member of the Board of Directors of Ambev. He has also acted as executive officer of Unibanco S/A and vice-president of Operational Insurance, Controls and Support of Itaú Unibanco S/A, both companies with main activities in the financial segment. Further, between 2003 and 2005, he acted as Secretary of Economic Politics of Federal Revenue Office (Ministério da Fazenda). He is currently a member of the board of directors of Cerradinho Bioenergia S.A.. Mr. Barros Lisboa has a degree and a masters’ degree in economics from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Since the end of the 80s, he has developed activities in the faculty of several teaching institutions in Brazil and abroad.
