Richard Wang

Richard Wang is a seasoned investor and business leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor and technology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Partner of Taiwania Capital's Central and Eastern Europe Fund since March 2024, Richard also holds an investor role at Ambiq, which focuses on power-efficient semiconductor technology. Previously, Richard was a Partner at Phi Zoyi Capital and took on investor roles with companies like Oculii and AEye, contributing to advancements in autonomous systems and vision technology. Richard co-founded CAROTA, contributed as Chief Marketing Officer and acting CFO at GMobi, and was responsible for corporate business development at Mediatek. Early career experience includes management consulting at McKinsey & Company and ASIC design management at ESS Technology. Richard holds an MBA from Santa Clara University, an MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
