Ryan Waddington

Ryan Waddington is the Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Cowboy Clean Fuels, a clean energy technology company focused on producing renewable natural gas from alternative biomass feedstocks while sequestering CO2. Waddington also serves as Co-Founder and Partner at Huron River Ventures, a venture capital fund that invests in sustainable technology companies in the energy sector. As an investor and board observer, Waddington has played significant roles in companies like SkySpecs, which innovates wind turbine inspections, and Ambiq Micro, known for its ultra-low power technology. Additional investments include Tachyus, Aatmunn, Sight Machine, and advisory positions with the Zell Lurie Commercialization Fund and Wolverine Venture Fund. Waddington holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan.
