Samuel Cheng

Samuel Cheng is a Vice President and Tech Head at H&D Asset Management since December 2018, focusing on hardware and software technologies as a venture capitalist. In addition to this role, Samuel serves as an investor in multiple companies, including HerculesAI as a B Round Investor, SIRIUS WIRELESS PTE. LTD. as a Series A major investor and Board Observer, Ambiq as a Series G major investor, and Graid Technology Inc. as a Series A+ lead investor and Board Observer. Other investments include Mammoth Cyber as a Pre-A Round Lead Investor and Board Observer, Bravotek Electronics as a Series B major investor and Board Member, Gear Radio Electronics as a Series B major investor and Board Member, and CYBAVO, which achieved a 70x return following a merger with Circle IPO. Earlier experience includes investment in Sensortek Technology Corp., resulting in a 6x return during a two-year holding period. Samuel Cheng holds a Master’s degree in Information and Financial Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
