Tomas Rybar is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in both national and international legal organizations. Since January 2002, Tomas has served as a Partner and previously as an Associate at Čechová & Partners. In April 2024, Tomas joined AmCham Slovakia as a Board Member. A long-time member of the Slovak Bar Association since 2006, Tomas contributes to the Working Group for Foreign Affairs. Notably, Tomas held several key positions within AIJA, including Secretary General, Deputy Secretary General, and Co-Chair of the National Representatives Committee, enhancing global engagement and membership activities. Additionally, Tomas has served as a Vice President of the SCILL Commission and an Advisory Board Member at the Slovak Compliance Circle, promoting business ethics and compliance in Slovakia. Tomas began legal training as a Law Clerk at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey and obtained a Master's degree in law from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave between 1996 and 2001.

AmCham Slovakia
The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) was founded in 1993 in Bratislava as an independent and self-supporting organization, entirely dependant on contributions from its members. Today, it serves as one of the most active foreign Chambers of Commerce in Slovakia. Currently, its membership has reached more than 330 international and Slovak companies, including many of the largest and important firms in Slovakia. Of this amount, approximately 23 % are American companies, about 42 % are Slovak companies and about 35 % are other nationalities.
