Mr. Stephan was appointed Chief Operating Officer, Global Flexibles in September 2024, and joined Amcor in June 2019 with the acquisition of Bemis Company, where he was President of Bemis North America. He served as President, Flexibles North America from June 2019 through September 2024, and also had oversight of the Amcor Flexibles Latin America business since September 2024. Prior to Bemis, Mr. Stephan spent much of his career in general-management and commercial roles at General Electric, across the power, plastics and lighting divisions, and 12 years at Johns Manville, a Berkshire Hathaway company. Mr. Stephan is based in both Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and Chicago.
