Jason Fogden

VP Group Controlling, Planning & Analysis at Amcor

Jason Fogden has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Jason started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Corporate Tax Manager from 1993 to 1999. Jason then moved to KPMG, where they worked as a Senior Tax Manager from 2000 to 2002. At KPMG, Jason managed a portfolio of large multinationals with a focus on Swiss companies.

In 2002, Jason joined Syngenta, a global agriculture company, where they held various roles. Jason served as the Deputy Head of Taxes from 2002 to 2006 before becoming the Corporate CFO for the NAFTA region from 2006 to 2007. Jason then took on the role of CFO for North Americas from 2008 to 2012, followed by Global Head of Finance for Lawn & Garden from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they became the Head of Finance for APAC from 2012 to 2016, where they were responsible for a $2 billion business delivery across Asia, including India, China, Japan, and Australia.

Since 2016, Jason has been working at Amcor, a global packaging leader, as the VP Group Controlling, Planning & Analysis. In this role, they are accountable for statutory and management IFRS reporting, group risk and compliance, and insurance. Jason is also leading the finance input into a joint listing process on the NYSE and ASX, preparing 5 years of US GAAP accounts.

Jason Fogden attended Newcastle University from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a B.A (Hons) in Law & Economics Joint Honours. Prior to attending university, they also studied at Tiffin School.
