Nivaldo Pignot has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in the Middle East. Nivaldo started their career as a Legal Counsel intern at ATR in 2006. Nivaldo then worked as a Regional Legal Counsel at TOTAL MIDDLE EAST FZE from 2007 to 2012, handling various financial agreements. From 2012 to 2015, they served as a Legal Counsel at GE Grid Solutions, providing legal and contractual advice to operational units. Nivaldo then moved to SUEZ, where they held the positions of Senior Legal Counsel and later General Counsel for the Middle East and Central Asia, overseeing legal and contract management departments and managing infrastructure projects. Most recently, they have been working as the Deputy General Counsel Near and Middle East at Veolia. In 2023, they will join AMEA Power as the Senior Director Legal.
Nivaldo Pignot earned a Master Degree in Business Law from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, they pursued further education at the University of Sussex from 2004 to 2005, obtaining a Master's degree in Business Law.
