Heikki Auer

Heikki Auer is a seasoned professional in risk management, currently serving as the Senior Director of Risk Management at Amer Sports since April 2023. In this role, Auer leads the Global Risk Management Function, overseeing Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management Development, Business Continuity Management, and Global Insurance Programs for the company. Auer is also a member of the Amer Sports Global Risk & Ethics Committee, providing reports to the Executive Management and Board of Directors. Prior to this position, Auer held various roles at PwC Finland, including Risk Director, Senior Manager, and Manager in Risk Assurance Services from September 2016 to March 2023, and worked at PwC Suomi from August 2014 to August 2016. Auer's earlier career included customer advisory positions at Liedon Säästöpankki and Huittisten Säästöpankki, along with experience as a croupier and logistics worker. Auer holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Turku School of Economics and has studied at Universidad de Granada.
