Michael Keene

Michael Keene is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in account management and strategic partnerships. As a Senior Key Account Executive at Ameren since August 1996, Michael has developed key relationships with commercial and industrial customers, focusing on the Clean Energy Transition through innovative sales strategies and a strong understanding of industry trends. Previously, Michael served as a Key Account Executive within Ameren's Illinois Economic Development Department, emphasizing customer growth and retention. Michael's earlier experience includes service as an Engineman in the United States Navy from June 1987 to June 1995, where notable achievements included earning the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. Michael holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Illinois State University, completed in 1998.
