Nick Bound

Nick Bound is a seasoned environmental scientist with substantial experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Career Environmental Scientist at Ameren since October 2021. Previously, Nick worked for Prairie State Generating Company from September 2014 to October 2021 in various roles including Chemical Engineering Analyst and Chemical Technician, focusing on critical systems related to water treatment and chemical processes at a 1600 MW coal-fired power plant. Early career experience includes a position as a Chemical Technician at Buzzi Unicem USA, where expertise in analyzing hazardous waste for alternative fuel sources was developed. Nick holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Southeast Missouri State University.
