Vas Zerris is an accomplished neurosurgeon with extensive experience in both academic and clinical settings. Currently serving as Chairman of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Mitera Hospital and Chairman of Neurosurgery at Hygeia Hospital since 2018, Zerris also holds the position of Professor of Neurosurgery at European University Cyprus and Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Texas A&M University. A Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Zerris has a rich educational background, including a Doctor of Medicine with Distinction and a Master's in Neuroscience from Brown University, as well as a Master's in Public Health from Harvard University. Previous roles include Professor of Neurosurgery and Director of the Medical School at the University of Cyprus and Chief of Neurosurgery at Baylor Scott & White Health.
