Tony Anderson possesses extensive experience in accounting and operations management, currently serving as Accounts Receivable Manager and Operations/Accounting Specialist at American Conservation Experience since August 2017. Additionally, Tony holds a Financial Clerk position at San Juan County Public Works, responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll for over 50 employees. As a Business Owner of Springtide Paddlesports, Tony manages all aspects of a sole proprietorship, including marketing and customer service. Previous experience includes working as a Lead Guide for Outdoor Odysseys Sea Kayak Tours, where responsibility included organizing multi-day kayaking trips and ensuring customer satisfaction. American Conservation Experience (ACE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing rewarding environmental service opportunities for youth, young adults, and emerging professionals of all backgrounds to explore and improve public lands while gaining practical professional experience. ACE is a national leader in recruiting, coordinating, and training volunteers to undertake practical environmental restoration projects in U.S. parks, forests, wildlife refuges, and other public lands. Our programs provide opportunities for youth, young adults, and emerging professionals of all backgrounds to gain tangible professional and field experience through meaningful, hands-on conservation projects. In 2004, ACE began as a small, international conservation program in Flagstaff, Arizona, engaging global volunteers in an American Conservation Experience through rewarding public lands projects. Since then, we have grown to serve locations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, continuing our mission to foster cross-cultural understanding and unity through national service.
