Gianna Tahan serves as the Manager of Strategic Communications at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) since August 2020, following a position as Communications Marketing Strategist. Prior to this role, Gianna gained experience as a Waitress/Hostess at Ming Fu from August 2014 to August 2020, where responsibilities included effective communication, training new staff, and managing customer inquiries. Additional experience includes work as a Student Reporter for The Durham VOICE, where Gianna developed news stories and engaged the community through social media, and as a Communications Coordinator Intern with Carolina Navigators, focusing on resource promotion for educators. Gianna holds a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies and French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, complemented by a brief educational stint at Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III.
