Will Burkett, P.E. has extensive experience in the electrical engineering field, particularly in transmission planning. Currently serving as Manager of Transmission Planning at American Electric Power since January 2014, Will has previously held positions as Supervisor and Engineer within the same department. Prior experience includes a role as Transmission Planning Engineer at EASi, where responsibilities involved conducting feasibility and impact studies for independent power producer interconnections. Will began their career as an Engineering Intern at Mondi and also worked in construction at Mid Ohio Air Conditioning Corp. Will holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University, obtained in 2012.
