Tom Venema is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in geotechnical and materials engineering. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Vice President at American Engineering Testing since January 2006, Tom leads the Construction Services Department, focusing on team management, staff planning, and project management for construction testing projects. Prior to this role, Tom held the same titles at GME Consultants, Inc. from 1983 to 2005. Tom Venema holds both a Master of Science in Geotechnical and Materials Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.
