Eric Wierzbinski is a skilled marine engineer with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Currently serving as a 2nd Assistant Engineer at American Maritime Officers since April 2016, Eric has gained experience working on three government military contracted vessels. Previously, as a 3rd Assistant Engineer at Rowan Companies from August 2014 to December 2015, Eric focused on the safe and efficient operation of vital engineering machinery for vessel drilling operations. Eric's earlier role at Otto Candies LLC involved experience with diesel electric plants and engineering systems, alongside leading vessel bunkering operations. Training as an engineering cadet at USMMA laid the groundwork for a successful marine engineering career, accumulating over 365 days of hands-on experience.
